Solo operators and advisory teams

The work started three weeks ago. The engagement letter still isn’t signed.

Send it as a signing link instead of an attachment. You see when it is opened, your client signs in the browser without an account, and OfferFlow sends completion emails with download access while the signed PDF stays available in your dashboard.

What you send

The paperwork around one engagement

A consulting relationship runs on the same short list of PDFs. Each one is a document you already have.

Engagement letter

Your signature and the client’s, a date field, and the fee schedule sitting on a later page of the same PDF.

Statement of work

Initials on each scope page, signature on the last one. A required field left empty stops the client finishing.

Change order

The two-page PDF you send in month three, when the brief has moved and the fee has to move with it.

Master service agreement

The long one, signed once per client. Upload it as a reusable template with its fields and signer roles already placed.

Renewal

The same document with new dates, addressed from saved contacts rather than retyped each year.

Mutual NDA

Nobody has to sign in a particular order, so both sides get their link at the same time.

Before OfferFlow

What the email attachment actually costs

Signing is not the hard part. The four days between sending and knowing are.

You can’t tell “hasn’t read it yet” from “is avoiding it”.

OfferFlow records when the signing link is opened and when the document is viewed, each with a timestamp you can read back.

The scan comes back with page four unsigned.

Every required field has to be filled before the client can finish. There is no way to return a half-completed document.

The countersigned copy lives in one person’s sent folder.

OfferFlow sends completion emails with download access, and the signed PDF stays downloadable from your dashboard.

Nine months later you disagree about which version was signed.

A SHA-256 fingerprint of the final PDF is recorded at completion, and audit events cannot be edited or deleted once written.

In OfferFlow

How a scope of work moves

Three steps, using the PDF you already send.

01

Place the fields on the SOW you already use

Drag signature, initials, date, text, checkbox and printed-name fields onto the page. Each field belongs to one named signer, and a signer only ever sees the fields addressed to them.

02

Send each signer their own link

The client and consultant each get a separate link at the same time, and the inbox shows who is still outstanding.

03

Send the link, then work from the inbox

Anything with a signature still outstanding collects in one place, showing who it is waiting on. Send a reminder from there, or correct a bounced address and send again without rebuilding the document.

Proof and evidence

What you send the client who asks for the file

Completion produces two PDFs and a record that was written while the signing happened, not reconstructed afterwards.

  1. A SHA-256 fingerprint of the final PDF, recorded at the moment of completion.

  2. A Certificate of Completion you can send alongside it, listing recorded events with timestamps, actor context and request information where captured.

  3. OfferFlow sends completion emails with download access, while the signed PDF remains downloadable from the dashboard.

  4. Audit events that cannot be edited or deleted once written, including by you.

Where the line is

OfferFlow produces standard electronic signatures. A signature is tied to the signer record and the unique signing link sent to that email address. It does not check identity documents, and it does not issue qualified or PKI-backed signatures. If a client’s counsel requires either, that document belongs somewhere else.
